Product Review: Magnum Aloe Vera and Cucumber Washing Liquid

First Impressions: When looking at this product for the first time you are presented with its nicely designed packaging with its clear plastic bottle so you can see the liquid which has a nice light green colour and at the top of the bottle there are some dots which help you grip the bottle and a nicely designed curve so it fits right into the hand easily, and the bottle cap is easy to pop open and close.

Why you should buy it: At the great value of 69p for a 500ml bottle it not only beats Fairy for price and value for money but goes one step further it would seem if you read what Which? had to say about one of the Magnum products a couple of years ago which you can read yourself here, it states in the Which? tests that Magnum Premium Original enabled 11,750 plates to be washed while Fairy Original washed just 6004 plates so you can see the value for money you are getting here.

Product test: When used in the real world, I did not have to use much liquid when filling up a washing up bowl with water, the product lathes up well and produces plenty of long lasting soap suds, it also cuts through grease just how the leading brand does with only a minimal amount of liquid required for each wash.

Scent: The product has a nice fragrance to it, it is like a cross between an apple and a fresh cucumber, naturally aloe vera does not have a scent, or much of one, so you do not smell the aloe vera.

Skin: This product is kind to the skin, it is soothing and the scent makes hands have a nice smell after washing up.

Rewards: Magnum beats Fairy in Which? 2011 tests, Magnum is also Good Housekeeping Institute approved.

Final Verdict; For 69p you get 500ml of outstanding washing up liquid that beats Fairy in Which? tests, so you not only get more liquid in a bottle but you save yourself money and also get an award winning clean when you wash the dishes. Have you tried this product yet? Leave a comment and let me and everyone else know what you think.
